CiteCon completed a competitive tender for this project.  The project required extensive value engineering that was undertaken over almost four months.  During this time CiteCon consulted on design elements and material selections to assist the designer and Client in reducing construction costs.

The project incorporated a baby, toddler, preschool and kindy rooms and associated facilities such as a library, stem space, Zen and art rooms.  This two-storey, 1390m2 block and concrete base build is combined with a structural steel roof and features a central play atrium and high-level play areas.

CiteCon was engaged following the completion of consent documentation to take the project forward through building and plumbing approvals.  The contract consisted of fixed fee preliminaries combined with a cost-plus arrangement.  This allowed the Client added flexibility and involvement in the project as they worked towards tenanting the building.

This complex complements the currently developed facility adjacent to Bunnings in Paget.  The building comprised of seven large tenancies over 5,000m2.  The building project also included over 5,500m2 of concrete hardstand and 900m2 of landscaping.

Starting with a shell this office space would be transferred into CiteCon’s HQ. The aim was to develop a vibrant space that enabled a culture of creative thinking, with an open plan to encourage collaborative collisions – “Those that sit together work together”. With the addition of common areas; kitchen, boardroom, hot desks and a chill out area all designed for more than one person in mind, rather than single occupancy. CiteCon HQ is an inclusive workplace design that promotes creativity and drives production.

Following the successful completion of other works onsite, CiteCon was engaged to complete a full upgrade to the three penthouse buildings. A high-quality product was essential for the client to ensure cohesion with their international brand offer.

Each of the buildings required extensive demolition across two storeys. Following the new configuration each building offered over two levels: private outdoor spas, showers, and bath facilities; generous decks to take in bush and Whitsunday views; master suites with changing rooms and ensuites; private master suite lounges; media rooms; bathrooms; laundries; BBQ pavilions; chef kitchens; dining rooms; living areas; visitor retreats and studies.

As mentioned above quality was of paramount importance to the Client and our team collaborated closely with the interior designer in many aspects. This project was successfully delivered on time and on budget to a high-quality standard.
